Terms governing TileNews, subscriptions, and the Lifetime Unlock.
These Terms of Use govern your use of TileNews (bundle ID llc.contextlimit.tilenews) provided by ContextLimit LLC (“ContextLimit”, “we”, “us”). By downloading or using TileNews, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. License & Apple App Store Standard EULA
ContextLimit grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use TileNews on devices you own or control. If you downloaded TileNews from the Apple App Store, your use is also governed by the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
2. Subscriptions & One-Time Lifetime Unlock
- Free Tier & BYOK: TileNews includes RSS/Atom feed reading, adaptive 2×2 to 8×8 tile grids, on-device Apple Intelligence summarization, and Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) support for OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini at no cost.
- One-Time Lifetime Unlock: TileNews Lifetime Unlock (
llc.contextlimit.tilenews.lifetime, $19.99 once) is a non-consumable in-app purchase that permanently unlocks all TileNews Pro and Ultra features on your Apple ID or Google Play account with no recurring charges. - Auto-Renewing Subscriptions: TileNews Pro Monthly (
llc.contextlimit.tilenews.pro.monthly, $0.99/month), Pro Yearly (llc.contextlimit.tilenews.pro.yearly, $9.99/year), and Ultra Monthly (llc.contextlimit.tilenews.ultra.monthly, $2.99/month) are auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renews unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in your device’s Account Settings.
3. Third-Party RSS Feeds & AI Summaries
TileNews displays RSS/Atom feeds and web articles published by independent third parties. ContextLimit does not own, control, or endorse third-party articles or publishers; all publisher trademarks and article contents belong to their respective owners.
AI-generated TL;DR summaries, Smart View multi-source consolidations, and smart notification highlights are automated syntheses provided for reading convenience only. They may contain errors or omissions and do not constitute financial, legal, medical, or professional advice. Always consult the original source article when accuracy matters.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
TileNews is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ContextLimit LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or related to your use of TileNews.
